The whole point of the art-of-reason website is to collect together my thoughts and feelings on anything and everything I find interesting. Hopefully, there will be something here that connects with you too.
Authors background
I am a 20 something-year-old from the greener parts of south London. Philosophy helped keep me on the straight and narrow when I could have easily fallen off the radar and ended up in a pretty nasty state towards the end of my teenage years. Instead, the self-confidence and personal insight thinking about the world around me and how I fit into it have given me. I’ve turned it all around, and I could not wish for my life to be any other way with a love of everything combative, from dialogue to sport. I find the beauty in what many might call brutality.
Long term mission
Ultimately, this will be a space for you, and me, to test our ideas on the battlefield of public discourse. The fresh air of the public consciousness is toxic to bad ideas. Helping to pop the comfy epistemic bubble formed by the echo chambers we can’t help but find ourselves in during the modern technological age. Long-term I intend to expand to other channels where I can start involving video as well as discussion forums so we can build a community of like-minded people with similar interests.
